WEDNESDAY’S WEEKLY [28] (Week 49, 2012)

Another week, another weekly. Today is the fifth of december, which only means one thing: Sinterklaas. Non-Dutch people might wonder what this is all about, well, I can sum it up in one word: presents.

Enough about Sinterklaas for now (a full explanation will come in another post I’m about to write, don’t worry). Wednesday’s weeklies are about the site, and my daily routine. Which is exactly what I will talk about in the next few paragraphs.

First of all, yes, there’s a new background. And, you might not have noticed, but I tweaked the header to match the new background better. I was fiddling with the layout while at work last Saturday night. I wanted my background to have some elements from my header, so I googled some wooden planks and copy pasted them in photoshop. Did some gradient on it, and added the red smear. Not sure what it would look like, I added it to the layout. When I saw what it looked like, I actually clapped my hands out of enthusiasm. That’s how good it looks to me.

As for the header, I only added the same gradient I used on the background, and I made a new favicon (the icon in your browser-bar which identifies this site).

And if you can excuse me, Im now going to spend some time with my parents, grandma, sisters and soon-to-be brother in law.
