ABT Sportsline #84 ‘Red Bull’ (2026 NLS) || Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 Custom Livery

Much has been written about NLS2. If you don’t know what that is (or rather, was): it was the 2nd round in the 2026 Nürburgring Langstrecken Series (NLS). It was particularly notorious because Max Verstappen took part in his own Mercedes AMG GT3 (operated by Winward racing). He won the race, until he didn’t.

Max Verstappen’s participation was in preparation of the Nürburgring 24 hours, which will start on the 16th of May (and finish on the 17th). It has brought about a lot of interest in the series from more casual racing fans, especially Max Verstappen fans. Who understandably have little else to cheer for this year.

I’m a long-time enjoyer of the NLS. When I started watching (2015-ish), it was still called VLN. So I wanted to use this newfound interest to further promote other long-standing teams in the series as an introduction. Starting with: ABT Motorsport.

The best way to ease the transition from F1 to NLS, is to start with a Red Bull-liveried car, right? Right?

Such as this ABT Sportsline Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo2. It is driven this year by GT3-mainstays Mirko Bortolotti, Patrick Niederhauser, and Luca Engstler. The car features a matte blue livery with large, asymmetric Red Bull branding. Meaning, it has the text on one side, and the bull logo on the other. This is complemented with white detailing and other sponsors, including Red Bull’s own Alpha Tauri brand. Remember that one?
