CANYON Ultimate CF SL || Mercedes AMG GT3 (2020) Custom Livery

Believe it or not, I have other hobbies besides playing pretend racing driver on the computer. One of those other hobbies is playing pretend cyclist on the computer. At least, during the winter months..

I’ve been cycling as a means of exercise for about 15 years. First on a mountain bike, then (due to a severe lack of mountains or dirt roads in my vicinity) I switched to a road bike. But since a few years I take my bike inside and mount it on my smart trainer to take it for a digital spin.

My platform of choice? Zwift. I love Zwift because it offers fun environments and events for competitive racing at each level. My weapon of choice is a Canyon Ultimate CF SL, model year 2024, which I bought (unsurprisingly) in 2024. Pictured below.

Part of the reason why I chose this particular bike was its black and white colour scheme, which I always wanted to turn into a simracing livery. And so I did. Not only the colour scheme itself, but also all the brands I associate with when riding my bike. So, it includes the brand of my rims, of my saddle, of my preferred clothing brands, my watch and glasses, favourite sports tracking app, and more.
