Make your own Formula 1 livery with this free template – 2023 update

February is to many racing enthusiasts a special month. It’s the month in which Formula 1 teams traditionally reveal their car for that year. Lately though, it has mostly become a way to just show the livery the team is intending to run. And since a livery is better than nothing, interest in these liveries is high. How high? Well, high enough that you guys have been exploding my traffic these past few weeks looking for a way to make your own livery. While I’m currently really big on making...

ACC player counts in review: January 2023

We’ve entered February, which means the first month of 2023 has been completed. This also means there is a fresh month’s worth of player data for me to go through in regard to Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC). Will 2023 be a fresh start for the waning player counts, which for the first time showed a declining year-on-year growth at the back end of 2022 (compared to 2021)? In this series of articles – I’ve been doing this since March 2020 – I analyze the playercounts from Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC)...

#WeRaceAsOne || ACC Custom Livery

On the 19th of December, 2022, the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (or, more commonly known, the FIA) published it’s sporting code for 2023. All teams, drivers, etc. in racing categories governed by the FIA (which is nearly all) must abide by this code of conduct. They update and publish a new code every year. Most often, they just add nuances to existing rules to make it more clear what is and what isn’t allowed during race weekends. Because there are many cases each year in which discussion arises whether something...

Time flies when you’re having fun. Last month I skipped out on writing the monthly recap due to a long vacation in Italy. ACC player counts in review: July 2022

July. Traditionally, the month with one of the lowest player activity of the year for Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC). Well, at least in 2021. In 2020, it was August – due to the release of the GT4 DLC in July 2020 temporarily boosting player activity. And now, at the tail end of June, we received the American Track Pack. Since it is now August 1st, we can now determine what the impact of said DLC has been on player activity. In this series of articles – I’ve been doing this...

ACC player counts in review: June 2022

Back in March, we received the Challengers DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC). This largely affected April’s numbers. So much so, that even May was still riding its coattails(and that of a free weekend). I expected the numbers for June to drop to somewhere around 4500 average peak concurrently as Summer is closing in. As we’ve seen in the past few years, June historically sees a steep decline in player activity: 8.5% in 2020 and 11.4% in 2021. Will June 2022 show a similar drop? How far was I off...
