BRASAS Racing Team || McLaren 720s GT3 Evo Custom Livery

I love it when a customer has a vague idea of what they want, and I get the freedom to decide on how to get there. So too with this commission.

I was contacted by a group of colleagues who work for BRASAS, a company specializing in teaching English to Portuguese speakers (namely Brazilians, hence the BRA in BRASAS). They wanted me to take inspiration from the company’s logo (featuring an American flag) and the HRT Ford Mustang GT3’s, the latter of which you can see below.

The specific notes I got from this design was to create multiple versions with alternate colours, and to incorporate a similar striped pattern as the picture above. This led me to create a blue/white/red, red/white/blue, and a white/blue/red version with a similar striped pattern, but with more of a sweeping design to mimic parts of the American flag which features so prominently on the company logo. The livery is complemented by other design cues taken from the BRASAS website and logos, and with sponsors denoting each driver’s weapon of choice.
