Benetton B192 || Porsche 992 GT3 R Custom Livery
In my last publication, I mentioned I was a huge Michael Schumacher fan as a kid. I think I was born at the exact right time to enjoy his escapades. Because of that, I already remade the first 2 cars Schumi or MSC drove in F1. And I might be on a quest to remake them all.
But first, here’s the score so far in this neatly formatted table:
| Year | Team and car | ACC GT3 livery and link |
| 1991 | Jordan 191 | Audi R8 LMS Evo (1) |
| 1991 | Benetton B191 | Porsche 992 GT3 R |
| 1992 | Benetton B192 | Porsche 992 GT3 R |
| 1993 | Benetton B193 | Porsche 992 GT3 R |
| 1994 | Benetton B194 | TBD |
| 1995 | Benetton B195 | TBD |
| 1996 | Ferrari F310 | Ferrari 296 GT3, probably? |
| Etc. |
Schumi’s first full season in F1 started off with the Benetton 191B. But, after 3 races, the Benetton B192 (pictured below) made its debut at the 1992 Grand Prix of the Olympic Games, as the Spanish Grand Prix held in Barcelona was dubbed for that specific edition.
The Benetton B192 featured a similar but revised livery, compared to the B191. It features a lot more yellow and green, and less blue. The Autopolis branding on the side made way to feature Benetton’s own logo, as well as some other minor sponsors.

After a 4th place in the season opener, and 2 different 3rd place finishes, the Spanish Grand Prix took Schumacher another step higher as he ended up in 2nd.
This promising result was a sign of more good things to come, as Schumacher and his teammate Martin Brundle (yes, that Martin Brundle for the young folk) racked up a total of 11 podium finishes with the B192, 6 for Schumacher and 5 for Brundle.
And what’s more: Schumacher was able to secure his first win at the track where he made his debut just one year before, at the 1992 Belgium Grand Prix at Spa-Franchorchamps.
Benetton finished the 1992 season as 3rd in the Contructor’s championship with 91 points. Schumacher also personally finished 3rd in the Driver’s championship with his 53 points. Marking a very succesful first full season for the, at the time, still rookie driver.
