Benetton B193 || Porsche 992 GT3 R Custom Livery

I previously posted the Benetton B192. And since I might be on a quest to remake them all, next up is (logically) the Benetton B193. Which, not entirely coincidentally, is the subject of this post!

But first, here’s the score so far in this neatly formatted table:

In all fairness, the B193 uses the exact same base livery, but mixes up some of the sponsors used. This results in a very similar looking car, just like the original 1992 and 1993 looking very similar. So much so in fact, that the Wikipedia entry on the car starts with a description of how to distinguish the two from each other.

In terms of results, the B193 (in the hands of Michael Schumacher, at least) was a very fast car. But also a very unreliable one. Michael probably set a record in this car: every race he finished, he finished on the podium. 3 times he finished in 3rd, 5 times he finished in 2nd. And, like in 1992, he achieved 1 victory. This time in Portugal.

This meant a 4th place finish (52 points) in the 1993 F1 WDC, and a 3rd place finish for the team in the WCC as teammate Riccardo Patrese was able to finish 5th (20 points) in the WDC.

As for the livery, it remains largely similar to the B193. I did have to remake some of the original brand logos from scratch as some were too obscure to make it across to the digital age. So even if it looks the same, there is still a fair bit of work done to it.
