JB Giesse Racing (1999 Le Mans) || Ferrari 296 GT3 Custom Livery

When I was a teenager, I played Forza Motorsport 2 relentlessly. My favorite car was the F333 SP. So, when I (re)discovered RacingSportsCars.com, I immediately went searching for liveries to recreate for Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC).

I think I already made the most iconic F333 SP livery, with the MOMO-clad F333 SP. But another livery caught my eye. The green, white, and red coloured F333 SP chassis. Entered by JB Racing during the 1999 International Sportscar Racing Series (one of the many WEC predecessors).

JB Racing was a French team founded by Jean-Michel Bouresche and former F1 driver Jean-Pierre Jabouille in 1995. You might know the team better as JMB Racing, which the team rebranded to after Jabouille left in 2000.

As JMB Racing, the team successfully raced multiple Ferraris and the infamous Maserati MC12 in the FIA GT championship. During the 2010s, the team faded into obscurity and ultimately stopped competing professional racing series.

Instead, JMB seems to have rebranded into JMB Classic, with a focus on maintaining and renting out classic racing cars for rich hobbyists to drive in.

I decided to remake this livery for the Ferrari 296 GT3 because I found the design to really stand out. And as it turned out, it was a great fit for the shape of the 296 GT3. Besides, how many (mainly) green Ferraris have you seen before in ACC?
