Penske Porsche 963 ‘Apple Music’ (2026 IMSA) || Porsche 992 GT3 R Custom Livery
Porsche has officially dropped the 963 program. However, that doesn’t mean the car is pulled from competition. Not entirely at least. For instance, in the USA there are still three 963s: one from JDC Miller, and two from Team Penske.
The latter of these two, Penske, has been pushing out some banger one-off liveries for the IMSA events as part of Porsche’s 75th anniversary as a constructor of racing cars. Their entry for this year’s Long Beach race (as seen below) on April 18th, immediately caught my eye. For perhaps obvious reasons.
Simple yet elegant, I think it was the perfect livery to recreate for the Porsche 992 GT3 R. And so I did. While the cars in this livery weren’t all that successful (3rd and 4th, after winning the first two races of the season) I think the recreation was a success.
The livery has two slightly different versions, the number 6 has white details and wing, while the number 7 has those in black. I made both for good measure. The liveries can be seen in the video above or in the screenshots below. Check below as well for a link to the (free) download!
Note: the next race, Porsche one-upped this livery with an Apple computers livery for the Laguna Seca race. If there is any interest, I will make that as well!
