Snake Motorsport || Mercedes AMG GT3 2020 Custom Livery

Back in August, I was contacted by Snake Motorsport. They asked me if I could do a whole set of liveries. And I don’t mean the regular 3 or 4. No, a total of 11 liveries, from all classes. I am going to publish them all in chronological order, starting with this Mercedes AMG GT3 2020. A car which has already made its debut at the GT3 Elite series by Pitskill.io!

At the time I was contacted by the client, I was about to head out on a (in my opinion) well-deserved holiday to Italy. But, the client had enough time to wait until I got back. Unfortunately, I broke my foot while on holiday. I had to be literally airlifted home, as I was unable to drive our car back. In fact, I was unable to do much at all. At first, I was even unable to properly sit behind a computer to do my work, let alone my hobbies.

With that in mind, as soon as my foot started recovering, I got together with the client to exchange ideas. They had a pretty set idea of what they wanted. A fixed design philosophy, exact colour codes, and a list of brands and logos to feature on the car as well as other features. The team already had their logos and mascots in order: all they needed was a livery to match. And that’s where I came in!

After some initial fine-tuning, I got the design up to the team’s taste. At the time of writing, 7 out of 11 liveries have been created, so I’m not there yet. But, once I got the basics down for the desired design, I was able to make 2 a week. So it will not be long before their set is complete!
