VR46 McLaren 720S GT3 Evo || ACC Custom Livery
Valentino Rossi (MotoGP) was, together with Michael Schumacher (Formula 1) and Alex Zanardi (CART) one of my three childhood heroes. Of the three, he has fortunately been spared the misery the other two have experienced. Although he retired from racing moto’s, he hasn’t retired from motor racing as he transitioned from 2 to 4 wheels.
Before Vale entered the GT World Challenge with WRT, he dipped his toes into GT racing with Kessel Racing in the 24h of Dubai in the Creventic series with a Ferrari 488 GT3.
While Valentino’s WRT Audi’s and BMWs have made their way into Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC), due to licensing issues his original GT3 car hasn’t. Until now. Sort of. (continued below)
I was asked to remake this livery for two cars: the McLaren 720S GT3 Evo which you can find in this post, and the BMW M4 GT3 which you can find in this companion post.
The request did come with one alteration: to remove the big 46 on the nose of the car, as well as the round shield it is printed on. Instead, I was requested to put a much smaller 47 on the car which I included fashioned after the Monster logo.
Do you want to download and use the final livery? Feel free to do so by clicking the big red bar below which leads you straight to my shared Google Drive from which you can download the files (free of charge!).
