WEDNESDAY’S WEEKLY [16] (Week 20, 2012)

It’s Wednesday, and by now I think you already know what that means: another diary-like entry to this site. Yes, ladies and gentlepeople, it’s already time for another Wednesday’s Weekly! What did I do last week, what have I done today and what am I going to do next week? You’ll read it in this entry, if you just click ‘continue reading’ in the bottom right corner. Come on, you know you want to. DO IT!

Well, now that you’ve clicked (or you’ve been sent here directly by pressing a link I spammed somewhere), it is time to kick off. I’ll start off with Saturday, when I went back to my parents’ place to enjoy the weekend. Not without reason, because it was my sister’s birthday, and ofcourse, Sunday was Mother’s Day. Not only was it a great moment to see them after they’d come back from Italy, but it was also a good way to fill my stomach. We had rabbit for dinner on Sunday. Delicious.

I had to finish a paper on monday, which I quickly did. I had to write another essay for today, so I worked on that one too. Yesterday however, turned out to be rather busy. The essay I had been writing turned out to be flawed, so I had to do my calculations again and change the writing. After twelve long hours, I was finally done writing it and submitted it.  I got some fairly decent sleep, before I had to wake up today at 6:30.

When I woke up, the sun was already shining through my window. I packed my Ray Ban’s hoping it would still shine the whole day. However, the moment I put one foot out the door, a crazy downpour started. It continued for most of the morning, so my sunglasses didn’t get a lot of use. I did manage to take a shot with my phone while the rain was falling, which turned out pretty okay, as you can see below.

As you can see, the sun IS shining. But the rain is spoiling it.

Anyway, around noon, the rain stopped, and the sky cleared. It remained rather cold though, so walking with sunglasses would make me look like a fool. A hopeful fool, but still a fool. I finished my classes and headed home, which brings me to right now.

What will I be doing next week? Probably a bit of rowing, blogging and studying. My final two exams are coming up in two weeks, which means I have to prepare myself by studying. I have to work again tomorrow, which will be the first time for me working alone. I don’t know how it’ll go, since the last two times saw me teaming up with an experienced co-worker to prepare me for this.

Now for the website. I’m working on something new and spectacular, but I can’t tell you what. I don’t know if it’ll work at all, so you would just have to remain patient until I unveil it (or not). It’s pretty cool in my head, but I don’t know how it’ll be in reality. If I’m not satisfied, I’ll try to work on it until I am, or if I finally realise it won’t work and just give up.

Oh, and I’m trying to grow a beard. It looks ridiculous now. But it’s for a themed party in two weeks, so it has two more weeks to grow to proper form. Until then, please don’t laugh.

Signing off for now,

Felix.
