Club.AOR Aston Martin & McLaren || ACC Custom Livery

I’ve been taking commissions for a few months now. The 3rd commission I completed was this one. A community leader contacted me asking for 3 separate liveries. One for the Mclaren 720s and one for the Aston Martin AMRV8. And, another for an Alpine Safety Car which is not included in this post.

Communicating proved a bit of a hassle, with the client not responding in a timely manner. As such, I was almost unable to make their requested deadline. To ensure that I would be able to meet the deadline, I sent them the files in advance. I did so in good faith, so they could at least use it for their first race. Ahead of any payment.

Well, that was a big mistake. And a lesson learned.

Because of course, after having sent the files in October, I got almost immediately ghosted. After repeatedly asking if the liveries were in order, I got no response. So, I sent them a bill. This did trigger a response. They said they would need time to evaluate the liveries.

That was early November. And now, it’s late December.

I’ve made peace with the fact that I will most likely never see payment for the work I put into these liveries. But, it would also be a waste not to show off the effort I put into it.

On the other hand, I do not want to offer this livery for a free download. Because it would offer this community free advertising if used in screenshots or videos. However, I could rebrand this livery to your liking. Feel free to contact me to work out the details for a customized version.
