Williams BMW FW26 – ACC Custom Livery

Are you, like me, a 90s kid who grew up watching F1 in the late 90s and 00s? Then you must have fond memories of the Williams-BMW partnership and the liveries it brought forth. And the one which arguable sticks out the most, would be the ill-fated Williams FW26, a.k.a. “the Walrus”, which was entered into the 2004 Formula 1 Championship. The car featured a unique, tusk-like nose. Unfortunately for Williams and its drivers, Ralf Schumacher and Juan Pablo Montoya, the concept proved unsuccessful. Two-thirds into the season, the team...

Honda RA106 – ACC Custom Livery

Are you, like me, a 90s kid who grew up watching F1 in the late 90s and 00s? Then you must have fond memories of the BAR/Honda team. The team got its start in F1 as BAR, by acquiring the Tyrell team. Later, when cigarette advertising was starting to get banned at more and more venues, Honda swooped in and took over ownership of the team. Only to pull out in 2009, and winning the WDC and WCC under the Brawn F1 banner. Through all of this, the team has...

Porsche 963 LMDh – ACC Custom Livery

Recently, Porsche announced it’s entry back into prototype endurance racing with the uncovering of the Porsche 963 LMDh. A stunning car, with a stunning livery. So stunning, I just had to recreate it in Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC). The car in the showcase video above is the result. I took some liberties with certain elements of the original design, as the car upon which the livery is painted far from matches the shape of the GT3 car. I am confident, however, that I recreated a spiritual sister to the 963...

Porsche Mission R – ACC Custom Livery

It’s been a while since I’ve finished a custom livery for Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC). July 24th 2021, to be exact. That isn’t to say I didn’t start making any in between. There’s actually still a couple I started and still plan on finishing, but those need more time. In the meantime, I decided I’d do something a bit more simple. A design I wanted to do ever since I first laid eyes on the source material – the Porsche Mission R. If you watched the video above – or...

Design: TAG Heuer Porsche 99XE ACC Custom Livery

Formula E. People seem to either love it, or hate it. Myself, I think the series has great potential but still has some problems to overcome. However, it is undeniable that Formula E has spawned some great looking liveries. Last time around, I recreated the Audi ABT e-tron FE07 livery. This time around, I converted the TAG Heuer Porsche 99X Electric. First, we’ll have a quick tour of the livery which is based on the Formula E car pictured below, after which there’s a download link for a free download of...

ACC livery showcase #04: Yes, we are back with 10 more greats!

Last week, I was unable to write this post due to a mild food poisoning. On the plus side, I broke my personal record of throwing up in a span of 24h, heightening it from 6 to 8 times. That’s why there was no post last week, but this week we’re back – with a vengeance! Today I have a lot of liveries which were sent in through email: we’ve got Ecnelis’ Bentley, Yurahe’s Porsche and a few designs by ZaidenGER and Napo24. Thank you guys for sending them in,...

Design: Porsche 991 GT3 “Pink Pig”

After creating the Ferrari 488 GT3 I felt like doing more cars from the Blancpain field this way. One of the first to spring to mind was the Porsche, because of its iconic shape that hasn’t changed much over the past 50 odd years. Long did I doubt about the color to upload this in. First, I wanted to do an acid green color to resemble the Manthey Porsches. Ultimately, it was suggested I go with the iconic Pink Pig design which was used for Porsche’s 917/20 in the 70s....
