QDR Maserati MC20 GT2 || ACC Custom Livery

Vaporwave. Retrowave. Synthwave. All terms which roughly point towards a similar style of music and accompanying album-art. You can call it Miami Vice-like. Outrun-like. Whatever words you choose to describe the style, it is undeniably inspired by the bright neon colours and bold synthesizer melodies of the 1980s.

And, it’s quite the vibe

Personally, I’ve been listening to this style of music since at least 2010 when French musician Kavinsky released the album ‘Nightcall’. This is around the same time when many artists of the genre made their debut, like Lazerhawk and Miami Nights 1984. Later accompanied by artists like, for instance, Peturbator, Carpenter Brut, and Power Glove.

All this to music history to say: I’m quite the OG when it comes to this genre. So imagine my eagerness when I was requested to turn that vibe into not 1, not 2, but 3 liveries!

The first of which, for the Maserati MC20 GT2, is published whenever I hit ‘publish’ on this post. The other two will have a sneak preview below:

Now it’s time for the MC20 version to shine. You can view the video above or the screenshots below for a better view of this livery.
