Kalle Rovanperä’s RedAnt Porsche 992 GT3 CUP || ACC Custom Livery

If you don’t know Kalle Rovanperä, let me summarize him for you: he’s basically Rally’s own Max Verstappen. The son of a decently famous rally driver, he got an incredibly young start at the world’s top-level (WRC). He became the youngest winner of a WRC event (in 2021) and a year later he became WRCs youngest ever champion, at just 22 years of age. Only to make it double in 2023.

Today, October 1st, he turns 24. In a year he’s taken a half-sabbatical (but still winning in half the WRC events he enters), Rovanperä has taken the opportunity to take a step back and look beyond just WRC. As a result, he also entered a few rounds of the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux for RedAnt Racing (as pictured below).

Without any experience, he achieved a 4th and 5th place finish at Zandvoort, and a 2nd and 1st place at Imola. In his third round (but fifth round of the championship) at Red Bull Ring, he finished 1st and 6th. While the competition might not be of the highest level, these results are not too shabby.
