Gulf GPX Porsche 992 Cup || ACC Custom Livery
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I remember the days, over a decade ago, when Sean Bull (under the pseudonym Bullystoke) would post his fantasy livery creations to Reddit. I’ve watched him grow from an upstart to one of the most well-known livery designers of today.
Now, I’m one of those people myself, an upstart posting liveries to Reddit.
I’m starting with this anecdote because this livery is a direct imitation of the design Sean did for GPX, the UAE-based team. I was requested to take one of their Gulf-inspired liveries (originally designed by Sean) for the previous generation Porsche 991 II GT3 R, and recreate it for the new Porsche 992 Cup.
The person requesting this particular design was looking to get his (non-videogame) 992 Cup wrapped, and wanted to try out some colour combinations using this design as a base. I hope to be able to show some pictures of their end result and my concept later on, but in the meantime I went back to the original colour combination to gift you guys this particular variant.
