Danke Seb – ACC Custom Livery
I made a new livery. But before I detail this livery (which you can already see in the video above), I need to get this off my chest. Scroll down below for the download, or read my love letter to the guy this livery is dedicated to. Your choice.
Seb.
I grew up watching F1. Michael Schumacher was my hero. Like many of my generation. When Der Michael retired by the end of 2006 however, I had already found the next driver I would support: Sebastian Vettel. Vettel. Seb.
I saw Seb drive to victory in Monza 2008. I saw him win his first championship in the final race of 2010. I saw Multi 21.
I saw him win his third title in 2012 when, in the final race of the season (Brazil), the (at the time) unretired-but-retiring-again Michael Schumacher let Seb by as he was recovering his race from an early incident. My favorite moment in all of F1.
I saw Seb move to Ferrari. I saw him challenge for titles. I saw him struggle. I saw him get eaten up by the younger generations. I saw him make mistakes because he was trying to get 110% from a car that could not go over 90%.
I saw him move to Aston Martin. I saw him fight for causes he believes in. I saw him grow as a person, a dad, and a driver. No more messages to Charlie, instead a letter to the world: there is still a race to win.
I made many designs incorporating imagery representing Seb. A helmet. A logo. Or hell, even a campaign poster for if he ever decides to run for anything politically pictured below.
Next weekend will be his final race. Similarly to when Schumacher retired, I will most likely feel empty.
However, I am sure another driver will stand up and take the baton. I was hoping it was going to be Mick (Schumacher), but it is looking more and more likely that he will be replaced by Nico Hülkenberg at Haas for 2023. At least I’ll have Nyck.
And I’ll have this livery to commemorate the decade and a half I’ve come to enjoy his on-track antics.
The ‘Danke Seb’ livery
The livery consists of two versions, both for the 2018 AMR V8 Vantage GT3. A ‘clean’ version (picture on the left below) and a version with sponsors and logos for causes and initiatives Seb supports (pictured on the right). Such as Save the Bees and Water = Life. You can find all causes Seb cares about here.
Both can be found in this download link:

To showcase the livery a bit better, I took the car to the only German track in the game: Nürburgring. During sunset on a slightly wet track, I took the following pictures.
