WIAWIS Lexus RC F GT3 || ACC Custom Livery
When you make custom liveries on commission, you sometimes get requests from unexpected directions. It al depends on the interests of the person requesting the commission. And this person’s interests? Professional archery. The subject: the Lexus RC F GT3, a car for which I hadn’t made a livery in a long time.
Archery on the other hand is a topic I don’t know that much about, although I did watch it at the Tokyo Olympics. Fortunately for me, making a livery themed around archery was, for me, mostly about using the requested design and logos.
In this case, the design brief requested me to take inspiration from the 2017 WIAWIS team shirt (pictured to the right) in terms of the triangular pattern. For colours, they chose a blue and yellow design with white details. And of course; many archery-related brands were requested to feature as sponsors.
The end result can be seen in the video above, or the screenshots below!
