Dragon / Penske Autosport Formula E – ACC Custom Livery

I’ve been creating ACC custom liveries based on the 2022 Formula E season for a couple of months now. After last week’s Avalanche Andretti BMW M4 GT3, I am proudly presenting my newest: the Dragon Penske Lexus RC F GT3!

I am now over 50% into creating all 11 Formula E 2022 entries for Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC). You can find all previous entries for my ACC x FE custom livery series here.

You can watch the showcase video above, or read my description and see some cool screenshots below. However, if you already know you want to download the livery, feel free to do so by clicking the big red bar below.

If you want to know how to install this livery, I explain it in this post. If you want to start making your own, click here for my tutorial to get started. And, if you want to see my custom ACC liveries, feel free to check them out here.

Dragon / Penske has been participating in Formula E since its first season. First under the moniker “Luzco Dragon Racing”, then “Dragon Racing”, “GEOX Dragon” and now as “Dragon / Penske Autosport”. Fronted by American team-owner Jay Penske, son of the famous Roger Penske, the team has not had much success since season 2.

This year, the team hopes that their driver pairing of Sergio Sette Camara and former F1 driver Antonio Giovinazzi can change the tide for them. Their effort this season so far has proven unable to do just that, but with only 3 out of 16 rounds behind us there are a lot of opportunities left.

The team builds their own powertrain and has no obvious link to any car manufacturer I could exploit. Choosing a (GT3) car to make the livery for therefore proved a difficult choice. However, I settled on the Lexus, due to the American heritage of the team. Lexus’ RC F GT3 has seen a lot of action in American GT3 racing, most notably the IMSA championship making it the best fit for this livery.

#28, Oliver Askew

As with all ACC x Formula E custom liveries I make, there are two mildly different options, one for each driver. #99 has an Italian flag and A. Giovinazzi on the A-pillar and his number (99) and abbreviation (99) on the roof. The #7 has an Brazilian flag for Sergio Sette Camara on the A-pillar, and #7 and SET on its roof.

To showcase the livery a bit better, I took the car to a sunset drive at Laguna Seca to get some pictures. The results of which can be seen below!
