Honda RA106 – ACC Custom Livery
Are you, like me, a 90s kid who grew up watching F1 in the late 90s and 00s? Then you must have fond memories of the BAR/Honda team. The team got its start in F1 as BAR, by acquiring the Tyrell team. Later, when cigarette advertising was starting to get banned at more and more venues, Honda swooped in and took over ownership of the team. Only to pull out in 2009, and winning the WDC and WCC under the Brawn F1 banner.
Through all of this, the team has had some awesome (and some decidedly less awesome) liveries. My favorite is the final Lucky Strike-themed livery, the Honda RA106 as pictured on the right.
Driven by Jenson Button and Rubens Barichello, the car performed decent with a 4th place in the constructor’s championship, behind Renault, Ferrari and McLaren.
Highlight of the year was Jenson’s win in the Hungarian Grand Prix, his first ever victory in F1.
And now, I’ve turned said car into an Assetto Corsa Competizione custom livery, as seen in the video at the top. Do you already know you want to download and use this livery? Feel free to do so by clicking the big red bar below which leads you to my shared google drive.

To showcase the livery a bit better, I took the car to Suzuka, Honda’s home of operations, for a morning photo shoot. The results of this photoshoot can be seen below!
