Lotus 99T Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 || ACC Custom Livery

Lotus. A legendary name in Formula 1. In the many decades the team took part in F1, it had many iconic liveries. One of the most iconic ones perhaps was the John Player Special livery; a black livery with gold sponsors and accents. As you can probably tell, this one isn’t that. No, this livery is based on the livery which replaced the JPS livery: the yellow Camel liveries which the team used from 1987 to 1990. Starting with the Lotus 99T.

The Lotus 99T was the final Lotus driven by Ayrton Senna in his 3rd season with the team. He was able to drive the car to 3rd place in the 1987 Driver’s Championship, his best placing before he went to McLaren to become a 3-time F1 World Driver’s Champion.

The Camel livery is not just blue letters on a yellow background. Upon closer inspection, one can see a glittering silver outlining the blue text. This poses a unique challenge that I did not encounter before when making liveries. A challenge I think I’ve overcome quite handsomely, but please let me know what you think!

The final result can be seen in the video (above) or screenshots below. Do you want to download and use the final livery? Feel free to do so by clicking the big red bar below which leads you to my shared google drive.
