Project Shadow Evo McLaren 720S GT3 Evo || ACC Custom Livery
Back when Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC) launched, it was also announced a free 2019 season update would be released on a later date, containing all the cars and tracks of the 2019 season. The then newly announced McLaren 720S GT3 did not feature in the 2019 season, but was nevertheless included in this updated under the Project Shadow programme by McLaren. A livery that still features prominently in ACC’s opening cinematic.
For quite some time, we’ve been able to race with the McLaren 720S GT3 EVO, the updated version of the car. And with this car came loads of real-world liveries. But not the Project Shadow livery. Until I got commissioned to recreate the livery for the updated car!
I chose to make a few alterations to the car. The biggest change I made to the original design was the triangles, which are now larger, tilted forward a bit (to follow the lines of the car better), and also fade out towards the back. The rear fender is now orange instead of black, and the Alienware logo on the rear wing is also black instead of white (because I think it is better readable that way).
