Wesett Racing Mercedes AMG GT3 2020 || ACC Custom Livery
I love working on liveries which are not the Ferrari 296. So when I was contacted by Wesett Racing to give their Mercedes livery a refreshing new look, I jumped at the opportunity.
Wesett Racing’s (at the time) current Mercedes livery was a pretty straightforward one, featuring a gradient from front to back in two shades of purple, some logos, and a few white details. As seen in the picture on the right.
My challenge was to incorporate their sponsor’s color (pinkish red) with their purple color, without any gradients. It took me a couple of tries to get a concept of what I was going to make. I especially struggled with a design for the hood of the car. But once I had a concept that I (and Wesett Racing) were happy with, it was pretty straightforward.
