McLaren Senna Sempre 720S GT3 Evo || ACC Custom Livery
Earlier this year, Mclaren announced the “Senna Sempre“. A McLaren Senna, which is already a tribute to the late driver, clad in a livery to celebrate the life of Ayrton Senna, on the 30th anniversary of his fatal crash.
Fittingly, the car features a design largely inspired by Ayrton’s helmet’s colours. The iconic Brazilian green-yellow-blue, including a subtle pinstripe between the coloured bands. But, it also features two pictures of Senna himself, one on each side. This picture is printed in a halftone pattern over the rear fenders of the car.
The front of the car mostly consists of a blue-to-yellow gradient, with what I can only describe as a ‘brushed metal’ kind of look to it in a semi-circular pattern across the front. Despite my attempt at describing the livery, pictures speak louder than words. So you can check the source of inspiration for this livery in the pictures below.
Besides the 720S GT3 Evo not having the same panels as the McLaren Senna, it is also made up of many different graphical elements. Most of which I had not tried to make myself before. So the process of making this livery was one of much experimentation, but I feel as though I did the original design justice (enough). And now, right before the Brazilian Grand-Prix, I think it’s fitting for me to unveil it!
