Waffle House McLaren 720S GT3 Evo || ACC Custom Livery
Looking at my Google Analytics statistics, my website is most visited by US-based persons. It is no surprise then, that I get quite a few requests inspired by North American locations, racing teams or racing series.
It is no surprise then, that I’ve had 2 commissions based on NASCAR cars in quick succession. And both for the McLaren 720S GT3 Evo. But unlike the previous car, this one I can share!
The following livery takes inspiration from the #43 Waffle House livery of Richard Petty Motorsports, as driven by Aric Almirola in the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. If you don’t know what any of these words mean, don’t feel bad. I too was unfamiliar with these names, but luckily Google was able to fill me in on the missing details.
This livery, as seen above, features a blue livery with yellow details and a black trim. However, the person requested the livery wanted to have the carbon base visible instead of the black. And to have the dark grey of the carbon feature more prominently in the colour scheme than the black trim in the example above. The end result can be seen (or admired) in the video above or the screenshots below!
