Envision Racing (2022) – ACC Custom Livery

For season 7 of Formula E, I created 3 custom Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC) liveries. The first was for the now-defunct Audi team. The second was for the Porsche Formula E team, which I recently updated for season 8. The third was the Envision Virgin Racing livery. And now, I am ready to present to you the (rebranded) Envision Racing livery from Formula E’s season 8!

This is already the fourth installment of my season 8 ACC custom livery recreation for my ACC x FE custom livery series. After the Nissan e.dams livery, the ROKiT Venturi Racing Mercedes and the updated 2022 TAG Heuer Porsche 99X Electric!

You can watch the showcase video above, or read my description and see some cool screenshots below. However, if you already know you want to download the livery, feel free to do so by clicking the big red bar below.

Envision Racing

The Envision team has a place close to my heart, as they are the team fielding my favourite driver in Formula E: Dutchman Robin Frijns.

As opposed to Season 7, the team cut ties with Virgin, rebranding itself from Envision Virgin Racing to simply Envision Racing. This rebrand also brings a change in colour scheme. Gone is the blue-ish purple with red and silver detailing.

It’s replaced by an aggressive-looking blue and green, which is most likely chosen to invoke the environmentally friendly nature of electric racing. I can’t say I am a big fan of this new look, but it is certainly unique in a field of mostly red, black, and red with black cars. So, they’ve got that going for them, which is nice I guess.

Envision ACC custom livery – studio shots

I tried to emulate Envision’s new livery as well as I could using the 2019 Audi R8 LMS Evo as a base. I chose this car because – while the works Audi team has left Formula E – the car still uses an Audi powertrain.

#4, Robin Frijns
#37, Nick Cassidy

As with all ACC x Formula E custom liveries I make, there are two mildly different options, one for each driver. #4 has a Dutch flag and R. Frijns on the A-pillar and his number (4) and abbreviation (FRI) on the roof, while the #37 has a New-Zealand flag with N. Cassidy on the A-pillar and #37 and CAS on the roof.

Envision ACC Custom Livery – live shots

To showcase the livery a bit better, I took the car to a nightly session at the Nürburgring to get some pictures. The results of which can be seen below!
