I’ve been league racing in MrGit@Twitch’s ACC League for quite a while now, and it is quickly becoming the highlight of my week. Not only am I racing against people on my level, they take the racing seriously too. No incessant crashing, but close and competitive racing. Awesome! Here’s the video of most of my highlights. Video: Battling D.Jankovic around Hungaroring

I’ve been having loads of fun with the new Early Access release of Assetto Corsa Competizione which adds a more stable multiplayer functionality. Instead of racing the AI, I can now also battle others around some of the released tracks. A great example of the battles you can have is the above video I captured last night. It’s also my first attempt at using multiple recordings and stitching them together to form a more realistic broadcast of the action. Let me know what you think of this ACC video!

Rocket League is another mighty game I enjoy. The purpose is to score an oversized ball with rocket propelled cars into the opponents goal. It’s as difficult and ridiculous as it is fun. One of the things you can do is demo(lish) your opponents car, resulting in a neat looking explosion which tanks your framerate if you have a shitty computer like I had. When Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC) was first announced, I was just experiencing my first Assetto Corsa ‘high’. I was a bit late to the party. However, I thought that AC1 lacked a bit of focus. ACC promises to be about GT3 cars, and GT3 only – featuring the Blancpain GT-series. This prompted some inspiration, so I created this ACC logo; Assetto Corsa Competizione can be purchased HERE on Steam. I highly recommend you doing so. I might do a review later.
