Video: Ginetta Cup race-recap round 2: Brands Hatch

On Saturday January 30th, The Privateer’s Pitbox’ first ACC championship made its debute with a double header sprint race as part of our Ginetta Cup. While the first race on Monza was positioned as an easy race to start with, race number two at Brands Hatch thrust our competitors out of their comfort zones by adding rain to the equation. In the video above, I comment on the events as captured by the highlight reel. If you’d rather watch my point-of-view instead, here’s my Twitch-VOD. Below you can find a little supporting summary...

Video: Ginetta Cup race-recap round 1: Monza

On Saturday January 30th, The Privateer’s Pitbox’ first ACC championship made its debute with a double header sprint race as part of our Ginetta Cup. The first race was positioned as a warm up to what’s to come, with Monza being a fairly easy track to race at. This meant our racers could focus on their cars and those of the people around them. The video above is a commentated highlights real. If you want to watch the race enfold live from my perspective, watch my Twitch-VOD instead! The race...

ACC Playercount Round-up: January 2021

Over the course of 2020, I kept track of the Assetto Corsa Competizione’s (ACC) playercount. 2021 will be no different, as I continue to delve into the number of players racing in ACC. Will ACC be able to continue its strong end of the year boost into 2021? Now that January is over, it’s time to look back and reflect! A little TL;DR in advance: This was the biggest month so far at 4,501 (175 higher than November 2020); The continued lockdown keeps people inside and racing; February will likely...

Design: Ginetta Cup Livery (and get your own!)

Yesterday, I announced the Ginetta Cup, organized by our start-up community ‘The Privateer’s Pitbox‘. In it, four screenshots of a uniquely liveried Ginetta were featured. That livery was custom made by yours truly as a promo for the Cup. The idea was never to only use it for promotional ends. No. I build this livery with the intention to make many, many variations. I made it modular. This means it is possible for me to easily change the colors. But why? Well, basically because I want to whore out my...
